Entering a Kyjen Retweet-to-Win Contest is easy!

How to Enter:

1. Contest will be announced in a blog post in conjunction with another contest, promotion or announcement. To enter, just retweet the contest link and designated #hashtag to your Twitter account. The URL, #hashtag and an example tweet will be provided in the blog post to make things simple. Or, you can retweet @KyjenKyle’s contest tweet directly from twitter (follow him here)
2. Messages can be rewritten on Twitter, as long as the #hashtag and URL are included. Alternative short URLs (like bit.ly) may be used, but we will verify they resolve to the correct contest link.
3. Any retweets, or messages we believe to be spam will not be eligible for the contest.
4. The Winner(s) will be announced on our blog and in our twitter stream. @KyjenKyle will ‘follow’ the winner(s) so you can then respond via DM (direct message) if you ‘follow’ back.

How Winners are Chosen:

1. Winners will be randomly chosen from eligible entries.

Who Can Enter (eligibility):

1. US residents over the age of 18 only.
2. We will disqualify any entries that we believe are generated by scripts and other automated technology.
3. We will disqualify entries whose authorship and copyright is called into question and cannot be verified.
4. Employees, partners and vendors of Kyjen and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

Using #hashtags:

If you are unfamiliar twitter and with using hashtags on Twitter, see this helpful page: Ultimate Guide to Twitter Hashtags (not affiliated with Kyjen). If you’re completely new to twitter, here’s another more basic tutorial: Newbie’s Guide to Twitter (not affiliated with Kyjen).

Add a #hashtag keyword to the beginning or end of your tweet. So an example would be something like this: “Awesome new contest on Kyjen Blog(URL), #KyjenContest”

Deadlines

Deadlines for entries will be stated in the official blog of the contest. We reserve the right to end a contest early or extend the deadline.

Legal Mumbo-Jumbo:

To enter, you must be a U.S. resident, age 18 or older. Only one comment per person per giveaway post. Duplicate comments and anonymous comments will be discarded. Please make sure that the email address in your comment form is valid (email addresses are never public). Winners will be contacted within three business days after the date of notification of such prize.  If an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries. We will disqualify any entries that we believe are generated by scripts and other automated technology. Employees, partners and vendors of Kyjen and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

Kyjen reserves the right to change, modify,  alter the prize,  deadline or any rules for the giveaways.  Any changes made will be announced on theKyjen Blog and will be effective on the following day.  Kyjen will not be responsible for any inaccurate information submitted by giveaway entries such as invalid email addresses, and shipping addresses.
